Both the camera and lenses will go on sale from September 23. However, the company has not revealed any details about the global rollout.
Xiaomi Yi M1 is effectively capable of capturing 50MP still shots and supports both RAW and JPEG formats. It features a 3-inch touchscreen display of 720×480 pixel resolution. There’s also Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support for direct sharing of photos with other devices such as smartphones.
In addition, the Yi M1 incorporates a mechanical shutter for faster continuous shooting. Other features include autofocus, face detection, single autofocus, continuous AF, touch AF and touch shooting.
Recently, Xiaomi announced that it will be launching its Mi Air Purifier in India on September 21.
The company has started sending out media invites for the event, which read, “2016 has been amazing for Mi and to add to our journey, we are pleased to invite you for the launch of our first Mi Ecosystem product in India.”
Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2 is 11% quieter and 58% more power efficient as compared to the first generation Mi Air Purifier, which was launched in 2014. The device can be controlled via an app. It has a three-layered filter which promises to remove 99.99% of PM 2.5 particles and produces about 10,000 litres with clean air delivery rate of 330m3/h in standard mode and 338m3/h in active mode.
The air purifier is also equipped with a new air pressurization system that includes an axial fan, a brushless DC motor, a Francis fan design and a conical duct. There’s a built- Wi-Fi module as well, which connects to the home Wi-Fi network.
