Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime
Redmi 3S Prime is a brilliant device for the price. During our testing of the device, we were pleasantly surprised with the device quality and the balance between hardware and performance for the budget smartphone. Redmi 3S Prime is powered by Snapdragon 430 and 3GB RAM while sporting a massive 4190mAh Li-ion battery. Also, you get Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 running on a 5-inch HD screen with a 13MP rear camera. The smartphone gives you 32GB internal storage along with a microSD storage slot where you can increase the storage up to 256GB.
Redmi 3S Prime sports a fingerprint sensor along with 4G-enabled Dual SIM support where the second SIM slot will be used by microSD card. The device already has all the essential connectivity features like 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, FM Radio and microUSB v2.0 as connectivity options. Xiaomi has also a launched a stripped down version of Redmi 3S Prime as Redmi 3S with 16GB internal storage, 2GB RAM and lacks fingerprint sensor.

Moto G Play, Generation 4Moto G Play, 4th generation is the latest budget device by Lenovo (yes Lenovo owns Moto Brand now.) The smartphone was released in August and runs on Snapdragon 410 with 2GB RAM. It sports a 5-inch HD display and runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box with a planned Android Nougat 7.0 soon. Also, the device is equipped with 16GB internal storage and microSD slot to expand the storage to 64GB with the dedicated microSD slot.
The device sports an 8MP camera module on the rear and 5MP camera on the front. It is powered by a 2800mAh Li-Polymer battery to run throughout the day. Moto G Play comes in two variants, one with 8GB internal storage with 1GB RAM and the other with 16GB internal storage and 2GB RAM. It has all the essential connectivity features like 4G-enabled Micro-SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, FM Radio, microUSB v2.0, NFC, and 3.5mm headphone jack. Even though it is not as compelling as other devices but the Moto brand stands tall with users along with an acceptable build quality.

Asus Zenfone Max is a decent smartphone with a massive battery. It is a portable battery charger disguised as a smartphone. You can go on using the device without worrying about the battery life of the smartphone. Zenfone Max is powered by Snapdragon 410 with 2GB RAM while sporting a 5.5-inch HD IPS display. Lenovo Vibe K5Lenovo Viber K5 is the budget offering by Chinese giant Lenovo to entice the Indian market by offering a feature pack smartphone under Rs 10,000. K5 sports an Octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and 1.2 GHz along with 2GB RAM. The smartphone comes with a 5-inch Full-HD IPS screen and runs Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box. There are no updates planned to Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 or the latest, Android Nougat 7.0.
